Description

I came across this technique originally as a way to not waste scrap silver, but it became a really popular style of hammered silver jewellery. I melt silver into rough grooves to make very crude bars that are then made into rings, bracelet and chains. Rings and bangles in this style are available on our Greenwich market stall on Sundays.

Chains are extremely time consuming to make so I haven’t done one for a while!
