Art deco

In the first half of the twentieth century we made some wonderful metalwork. Improvements in production made them it more widely available and the vintage wedding rings are still available. Modern rings are much more about the stones so the techniques are on the wane. Most of these are wedding rings I’ve sculpted to match the pattern of a vintage engagement ring. Description

In the first half of the twentieth century we made some wonderful metalwork. Improvements in production made them it more widely available and the vintage wedding rings are still available. Modern rings are much more about the stones so the techniques are on the wane, which is a shame to me as due to my background, I am much more interested in the metalwork of a ring than the diamonds or sapphires! We see many engagement rings which need art deco vintage wedding rings to match up with them.

I have also designed and made some vintage style engagement rings, one with a very large moissanite and some lovely detailed metalwork and another with a large central diamond and some gorgeous pear shaped diamonds to the side, surrounded by the art deco style metalwork based on the honesty plant.
